LeggoMyEggo.com: Redesign + Games + Scavenger Hunt

Playing with Breakfast: Digital Engagement for Eggo

Kellogg’s Eggo wanted to turn breakfast into an adventure by bringing fun and play to the brand’s digital presence. I led the redesign of LeggoMyEggo.com, developing interactive games and seasonal scavenger hunts that encouraged families to explore, play, and return for new experiences. The challenge was to capture Eggo’s playful spirit while building a safe, accessible site that worked for kids and parents alike. Working with a talented multidisciplinary team, I helped translate the Eggo family campaign into an interactive space for kids and families. The Nick.com partnership turned the search for Eggos into a participatory online adventure, while LeggoMyEggo.com became a destination where character, humor, games, and brand behavior came together.

Eggo’s “L’Eggo My Eggo” platform was launching a new animated campaign around the Eggo family. The assignment was to bring that world online in a way that felt active, playful, and easy for families to understand. The digital challenge was simple but important: turn a familiar TV idea into something people could explore, play with, and return to. My work included designing user flows, directing game development, and partnering with brand and digital teams to launch limited-time campaigns. We integrated site-wide scavenger hunts, collectible rewards, and leaderboards to drive engagement and repeat visits. The redesign increased time on site, boosted brand loyalty, and gave Eggo a digital experience that matched its iconic breakfast personality.
