Novocure / Optune

Bringing breakthrough oncology technology to patients and care teams worldwide.

Novocure’s Optune represented a new frontier in cancer therapy—a portable device designed to help patients manage aggressive brain tumors with Tumor Treating Fields technology. I led digital strategy and experience design to ensure patients, caregivers, and clinicians could understand, access, and use Optune with confidence. The challenge was to communicate complex science and support the adoption of a life-changing yet unfamiliar therapy.

ACTIVATE THE MILESTONE

My work included designing educational resources, onboarding flows, and digital touchpoints that guided users through device setup, daily routines, and ongoing support. We partnered with medical experts and patient advocates to make information accessible and empathetic, addressing both clinical requirements and the emotional needs of patients and families. The digital experience helped improve engagement, adherence, and overall satisfaction with Optune therapy, supporting Novocure’s mission to extend and improve lives.

MEASURE THE CONNECTED JOURNEY

The platform gave teams a more flexible way to manage experiences across audiences and channels. It supported awareness, FDA milestone communications, healthcare professional education, patient education, and advocacy efforts. I translated customer and stakeholder insights into briefs, content plans, and experience guides, making it easier for teams to work together across digital, social, traditional, and hybrid channels. This case reflects my experience leading inclusive, data-informed strategy in complex healthcare settings where clarity, empathy, and coordination matter.
